Skip CS4. CS3 does everything we need for now, and no one is going to catch up with you, not even Quark. Instead of forcing another version down our throats bloated with unnecessary features, you could instead take some time to make a new version that focuses on stability and performance.

-A new version every 2+ years would be better for you, for us, for everyone.

-Skip CS4, and make sure CS5 is available as a fully 64 bit version on both Windows OS's en on the upcoming OS X Snow Leopard

-But CS4 does focus on performance by providing graphics hardware acceleration, offering substantial (2x-5x) performance boosts on systems with fast GPUs.

-Absolutely correct. Performance is so slow when developing in CS4, I had to continue using CS3. Unforgivable.

-Partly agreed. Please DO add new REAL functionality (like exporting for the iPhone) but also reduce the ridiculous filesizes, CPU and memory requirements of your software. Make the installer more user friendly and give more options to leave out all the unneccesary plugins and tools that we never use, but take up gigabytes of HD space.

-yeah, but as long as they don't sell software as a service, they still gonna need to pay them developers for cs5
